CHILDREN AT ST PETERS
Sunday services have been cancelled due to government guidelines, but church is still happening all over Farnborough in people's homes. There are lots of resources to help you. These can all be found via the 'online church' tab at the top of the page.
PJ Church - a video church for you to do in your own homes.
Bedtime stories - bible stories read by our usual Sunday group leaders.
All the above videos can be found on our YouTube channel here.
There are also a number of activity booklets to download:
This is what some of our families have been getting up to at PJ church at home!
During our 9.30am and 5.30pm services we run groups where children can learn more about the Christian faith through stories, music, craft and games.
At 9.30am there are groups for children from 3 months up to school year 6 (11 years old). On the first Sunday of the month we stay together in church for an All-Age service.
At 5.30pm there are groups for those in school years 3-6.
The leaders at all our children’s and youth groups are fully DBS-checked, according to our safeguarding policy.
We have two nominated SENCOs (Special Educational Needs Coordinators) within the church, who coordinate a programme to ensure ALL children are welcomed to our activities. All children, are valued as the individuals God created them to be and all will have the opportunity to take part in whichever way is appropriate for them. The SENCOs are happy to meet with families to discuss the individual needs of children and how we can best support them in a church setting.
Lighthouse Club - For years 3-6, weekly club night with a bible theme held in the Parish Centre. Each week there is a different themed activity including crafts, sports, cooking and junk modelling.
The themes for this half term can be downloaded here.
Every Monday, 5:30-7pm, 50p entry. £1 for entry and sandwich tea.
